Fun Facts - in his own words

1. My last name pronounces "sa-KA-i".

2. I speak 3 languages:  English (of course!), fluent Japanese and conversational Russian.  On a whim, I studied Russian in college.  Don't ask me why and don't test me either. My Russian is solid enough so that if there is a script, I can deliver; just don’t ask me to improvise in Russian ;).

3.My favorite chefs are Roy Yamaguchi and Ming Tsai. I was pretty upset when Roy's closed in New York.  Now my close 2nd favorite restaurants are Becco, Ippudo and Sanford's. Email me if you need more recommendations.

4. A big fan of 24. Watched all episodes and attended 24: Live Another Day world premiere in NYC.

5. Animal rights supporter.  I do donate to Humane Society and foster animals whenever time allows.

6. My birthday is November 6.  I share the same birthday with Ethan Hawke, Mike Nichols, Sally Field, Michael Cerveris and Emma Stone.
