About Nick - Acting
Nick Sakai is an actor known for his layered performances and versatility across stage and screen. His television work includes roles on High Maintenance (HBO), Orange Is the New Black (Netflix), The Affair (Showtime), and Law & Order. In independent film, he has taken on lead roles in Ms. Kiss and The Pardon, both currently touring the festival circuit and earning recognition for his ability to bring both vulnerability and intensity to the screen.
Nick began his career on stage, appearing in Tina Landau’s off-Broadway production at En Garde Arts. Soon after, he booked his first on-camera role in Guiding Light (with Frank Grillo and Wendy Moniz), which opened the door to a career spanning prime-time and daytime TV, indie films, commercials, and voiceover. Audiences and collaborators alike recognize him for his ability to move fluidly between comedy and drama, and for the authenticity he brings to every character.
Nick is currently represented by ATB Talent, bicoastal agency based in Los Angeles and New York City.
